Decadent and beautiful silk satin in the palest mint green is the base for the stunning gown. It is completely cut on the bias and the silk is printed with a soft, romantic floral print in a creamy silver ghost grey with pale yellow shots of color hand screened to highlight the floral design (it may even be painted!). When it photos the camera really picks up the silvery tones and minimizes the lovely color - you get a stronger sense of that pale and delicate green in real life. The neckline is cut straight across with tightly inset shoulders. The back drapes and is one wide open undone keyhole! It just hooks at the neck and then the rest is left open to the waist! It's impeccably seamed - where the bodice is set into the skirting the seams peak and then swoop down to emphasize the curves of your body. Fabric has been taken and piped and worked into a thick braid that loops around the back and sits just above each hip. The skirt is cut on the bias so there are yards and yards of silk satin that moves beautifully with you as you move. Finally, but certainly not least - it has incredible balloon sleeves - just massive billowing sleeves that at their widest are a full 30" in diameter. In incredible early gown that is in excellent, extraordinary condition! Note that you could, if you dare, wear this the other way around - it is so well made it drapes perfectly either way!
