The King of Slub 2 is a super heavyweight 23oz Japanese Selvedge Denim that takes texture to a whole new level. Made using a custom-developed "King of Slub" yarn, which took over two years to perfect, the yarns are extremely thick with a three-dimensional texture. The yarns are rope dyed, and due to the thickness and irregular shape of the yarn, indigo absorption varies wildly from section to section. This creates patches of high and low indigo absorption points in the denim. Over time with wear, as the indigo starts to fade, a wide gradient of indigo becomes visible, and the thickness of the yarn allows for an extreme high contrast three-dimensional textured fade. Additionally, the thickness of the denim emphasizes all your wear patterns, resulting in an incredible fading experience. For the second iteration of the King of Slub, a beige weft was added to give the denim a warm, earthy tone. Other details include antique copper hardware, a button fly, a Cuba tan leather patch, a hidden selvedge coin pocket, and a classic redline selvedge ID.
The Easy Guy is a high-rise tapered fit with a relaxed top block and a sharp taper from knee to hem.
